Yvonne Root – Home Staging Consultant
After leaving college where she studied Interior Design Yvonne’s first designing job was at a Sears Department Store as a visual merchandiser. She became the visual merchandising manager and learned a great deal from her mentors and supervisors concerning the best way to appeal to the consumer when preparing displays. She went on to own two successful antique stores as well as a small retail business in a mall in Northern New Mexico.
After years of having visitors comment that her home could and should be featured in magazines Yvonne was nudged to remember her first love of creating pleasing home interiors for others. And, because time after time she had casually helped family and friends with their decorating dilemmas she knew her gift for decorating could be used to help others achieve a specific goal in their own homes.
Yvonne says, “When I discovered the field of Home Staging I felt as if I had come home. I can use my interior design skills as well as my visual merchandising skills to help home owners prepare their property for the market.” Thus rooms b.y. root was born. She is enthusiastic about helping house sellers be prepared to move on. She lives near Prescott, Arizona with her best friend and her husband. She is glad they are one in the same.

Jack Root – Quality Control Management
Jack Root is the business advisor and problem solver at rooms b.y. root. Beyond his caring attitude and ability to find solutions for difficult home maintenance issues Jack is excellent at stepping-in to do whatever it takes to get a job done.
One of the positions Jack held in the corporate world was that of quality assurance manager at a farm machinery manufacturing plant. His ability to discover flawed materials and to spot errors in the manufacturing process is now used in each final walk through of a completed staging job.
As the former owner of a business, High Country Air, which very literally sold air he understands the real estate imperatives of location, price and condition. His focus is to assist property owners to receive the maximum possible return from their property investments. He believes the impact of great staging is as important to potential home buyers as it is to home sellers. Jack understands the importance to prospective home buyers of finding a home which speaks not only to their business savvy but also to their senses.
Jack’s mission is to follow though with all the details as each property is staged; being sure that there are no “loose ends,” that pictures are hung straight, that every last snippet is swept away and that the best features of the staged home have the best quality of service applied to them. He lives with his dog, Prissy, and their best friend (and Jack’s wife) Yvonne in Northern Arizona not far from Anthem.

Tonya Schulte – Office Manager
Tonya Schulte is the office manager at rooms b.y. root. Her background in construction rental businesses serves her well to understand the concepts in the installation of temporary furniture and accessories in a staged home. Because of her training in customer service she is well equipped to be a consumer advocate and understands the importance of exceeding expectations brought to the table by potential clients as well as present clientele.
She believes putting your best foot forward is a continual process and that by helping home sellers be aware of the opportunity they have concerning placing their properties in the “best foot forward” category that she begins the development of relationships which will enhance the lives of each client as well as the lives of the team members at rooms b.y. root.
Besides being a published author, a professional part time actor and the owner of a website development business Tonya is also the resident comedian at rooms b.y. root meetings and occasionally even in the properties staged by the rooms b.y. root team. Her address is in Mayer, Arizona where she lives with her handsome husband, Joe; their lovely daughter, Nicole and their not so bashful dog, Bozo.

Joe Schulte – Warehouse and Installation Manager
Joe Schulte is the newest member of the rooms b.y. root team and comes with a background in warehouse management. He is also the “go-to” guy for his brawn and eagerness. His willingness to take on the heavy tasks as well as his lilting laugh has endeared him to the rooms b.y. root team and clients too.
He understands the importance of guarding clients’ treasures and the significance of being prepared to go all out to make their biggest treasures (their houses) be the shining jewels in their respective neighborhoods or within their comparative price ranges.
Joe says, “Until coming here I didn’t really know there was a way which can help people sell their homes more quickly and save them money at the same time.” He lives in Mayer, Arizona with his beautiful wife, Tonya, their 2 year old genius daughter, Nicole; and their lovable dog, Bozo – sometimes called Bo.
